Updated and Enhanced APT Version 25.4.2 Released

The Astronomer's Proposal Tool (APT) was recently updated to include several enhancements to assist in JWST proposal planning. Released on January 16, APT version 25.4.2 includes the following enhancements:

  • Updates to the timing model, including revisions to the overheads for coordinated parallel observations and tight timing windows.
  • The option for MIRI LRS and MRS observations to be executed with no Target Acquisition.
  • Wavelength and filter selection flexibility for MIRI MRS observations.
